Emma Forman is a singer songwriter based in
The Awkwards (guitar), Piston Broke(bass) and The Koshkas (bass). However, she is perhaps best known as the former frontwoman of Bad Karma (guitar and vocals), Those Valentinos, and Baby Karma.
These days she can be found gigging as a soloist. Occassionally she performs in a duo alongside Dusty Valentino. She is also currently a member of pop punk band Medusa's Curse and pop rock band The Emma Forman Band.
On the 9th December 2001 Emma performed her first solo acoustic gig, and has since gone on to carve out a reputation for herself as a fine and much in demand singer songwriter. She has been compared with artists like PJ Harvey, Suzanne Vega and Harriet Wheeler from The Sundays. Her first solo demo was recorded by Chris Thomson from The Bathers (formerly
Love and money) in 2001, and as a result she has gone on to support various artists including:
Astrid Williamson, Duke Special, Fish, Frank Turner, James Grant, Midge Ure, Rose Kemp, The Wrigley Sisters and many more.
