Alterhit is a place for music artists and those that love listening to music. 

Alterhit will allow signed and unsigned content to co exist side by side on the same website. Unsigned musicians can  upload their tracks and make them available to people visiting the site and to compliment this, content will also be supplied by music labels.

Alterhit "friends" can take part in the sale of music online too.  Friends can add tracks to their homepages.  Users visting a friend's homepage can choose to buy the tracks that the friends have added .  The friend earns 20% of the sale price of every track they help to sell.  This is a unique approach to selling music, that involves the listener in the sale of online music and allows them to take a share of the sale.
